Drawings, Paintings, and Mixed Media

My drawings and paintings are all inspired by natural scenes, from wildlife to beautiful landscapes.  I like to use a very illustrative style with strong narrative.  Art began as a way for me to portray my adoration of nature, and that continues to this day.  My drawings and paintings not only show my relationship with the natural world and my sense of awe and wonder for it, but I also hope it helps spark that feeling for my audience when they view my work.  In this sense, my artwork conveys the same messages of appreciation for nature that my words do when I speak to the public about conservation.  Below is a sampling of some of my drawings and paintings.
